Proposal Cloning
On the proposal index page you have the ability to clone / copy and existing proposal. This will be an exact replica of the original proposal the only difference being a new reference number will be generated and the status will be set to draft for the cloned proposal.
This functionality allows users to copy past proposals of a similar nature to a new proposal and / or setup Proposal templates. If most proposals will have a similar or identical WBS structure then we would advise creating a proposal named Template and cloning this to create future proposals.
To clone, select the proposal record you wish to clone then select the 3 dots to the right hand side. As shown below you should see the Clone option available, select this and a new proposal will be generated.
You will be redirected onto the newly cloned proposal. If you navigate back to the index page you can view the newly cloned proposal at the top of the index.
Proposal Index Filter View
There are 4 types of filtering available on the index page:
Alphabetical Filter
Hover over any of the column titles.
Click the name and an arrow point up should appear while the filter is being applied.
On the first click an arrow will point up to signify A-Z.
On the second click an arrow will point down signifying Z-A.
Third click will reset the filter back to default.
Column Pin
The column pin is not necessarily a filter but will cause the selected column to be locked on either the right or left side of the screen depending on which pin was selected.
Select the 3 dots on any of the column titles.
Select the Pin Column option.
Select whether to Pin Left or Right.
You can unpin a pinned column by selecting No Pin.
Column Filter
Select the filter icon against any of the column titles.
The filter options will appear below.
Deselect the available filters via the (Select All) tick box.
Either scroll down or use the search function to find the fields to filter by. The filter will automatically apply when a field is ticked or unticked.
Index Filter
The index filter can be used to remove, reorder or re-add columns on the proposal index.
Select the 3 dots against any column title.
Select Choose Columns near the bottom of the options.
The filter will appear as shown below.
Untick the box for the columns to be removed from the index.
Using the bento menu (4x4 dots) you can reorder the columns.
Select Reset Columns to remove the applied filters.
Add Proposal to Dashboard
On each proposal you have the ability to add to dashboard. This means that the selected proposal record will be added to the users individual dashboard. They will therefore have quicker access to the record and be able to more closely monitor proposals being actively worked on.
On the Proposal Index page select the 3 dots against a proposal on the right side of the row and select Add to Dashboard.
Navigate to your dashboard to view the newly added proposal record.
